What do you like best about Karbon?

Triage and the filtering by internal comments, contacts, and not contacts. And I have all of that in ONE location now, not going to 5 different apps to see who has @mentioned me or has a task for me. ALSO, being able to attach my emails to Work Items and Contacts is a GAME CHANGER. Having all of the context for something at my finger tips is great. I also love the reporting and insights I can get on my team and their capacity, and I love being able to eliminate internal emails! Oh and Timetracking against the works and clients makes seeing the team's capacity so much easier. And the fact that I have a secure client portal for clients to help eliminate THOSE emails - and I can assign them tasks! AI Summaries on timelines are gold for our team members who are working across divisions, as well as managers when they are speaking with a client (or even to the internal team). What do you dislike about Karbon?

There is SO MUCH customization in Karbon, and every decision you make will effect something else (reporting wise). Sometimes it's really hard to understand the implications of any decision you're making to your setup/structure, and while they do have a wonderful Help Wiki and support team, it's just alot to learn. I also really long for the "softer side" in Karbon (it's pretty clinical - I'd like options to soften it with different colors, include Gifs in comments, etc.). I also wish the recurring work scheduling wasn't so difficult - it's not very intuitive and I understand why it's structure that way, but it's like I have to learn a new language and most of my team do not have the time to learn how to do that, so it's a very large administrative burden for Work creation/setup. Karbon solves several key operational challenges we faced as an accounting firm. Before Karbon, managing client communication, tracking job progress, and ensuring timely follow-ups was scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and to-do lists. Karbon brings everything into a single, collaborative workspace where emails, tasks, and timelines are all connected and visible to the team.

What do you like best about Karbon?

KARBON is a really easy product to use and navigate. With it's various integrations continually improving, it's bound to be the stand out product in the market for an all-in-one CRM. Setup was easy and painless (from memory), we use it all day, everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Karbon?

The 'billing' feature has been a bit clunky in the past, but now with the added integration directly with XERO, I see this being a much smoother process in the future. Customer support can sometime be difficult due to the time differences, so finding your local rep is essential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?

KARBON is like outlook on steroids - not only does it mirror my outlook inbox, but I can tag the emails to each specific client. These emails and notes are then visible on each client's timeline. I can create work tasks with checklists and set due dates, and also set them up on a recurring schedule so that I don't have to re-create them each week/month/quarter/year, etc. I can delegate work tasks to me team members, and check their progress using 'my week'. My team and I can log times against each work task or just log a time against a specific client. Once work tasks have been completed (or partially completed) I can then complete the end of month billing that integrates directly with my chosen Accounting software. Easy!! What do you like best about Karbon?

What stands out most about Karbon is its seamless integration of communication and workflow management. The ability to manage emails, tasks, and client work all in one place is a game-changer.

Another standout feature is the workflow automation. Recurring tasks, client reminders, and status updates can all be automated, which saves time and reduces the risk of things slipping through the cracks.

The number of filters by which we can sort out the data which is required to use for the organization is the best thing. My To Do list was growing so big at one point that I was struggling to keep on top of my tasks and time management. Karbon has resolved this for me - I am now able to organise my work day, week, months and even create recurring work that I need to go through and complete on regular basis. When a colleague was away and I needed to help their clients with a query, I wasn't sure where to start and this often created confusion not only for me but also amongst my team. With Karbon you can see everything and help your clients much easier, it really benefits the client experience and makes our work more professional and response time way quicker. Templates for work flows, and the ability to assign, view, review and action items with simple views and filters allows us to easily have a complete picture of where our workflows, outstanding actions and capacity scheduling for resource planning.

Karbon provides us with visibility over all aspects of our accounting business including communications with clients; assigning actions and status; workflow creation, scheduling and monitoring; project management; creating efficiencies and more. The new Practice Intelligence has provide even more valuable insights into our data and how we operate leading to reduced wastage and more profit. What do you like best about Karbon?

Easier to know what jobs to work on. The triage feature is quite useful. Customer support is great. We also got a great walkthrough to better understand how the features work in Karbon and it's been extremely helpful to track projects and make sure that we are on target for our busy season deadlines. Karbon is helpful with tracking efficiency and it's easy to setup budgets and review actual time entered for projects. It's also great there is a timer feature for tracking time. It's easy to know what jobs we are working on. When they are due and if we are going under or over budget with the time put into projects. We've been able to better track projects through our deadlines and it's quite easy to update on the status of projects and track based on tasks completed from staff where we stand.
