"Miro Turns Remote Brainstorms into a Shared “Digital War-Room”"
What do you like best about Miro?

• Real-time collaboration feels instant—even with 20+ people sketching, voting, and dropping sticky notes at once.

• An enormous template library (OKRs, Kanban, mind maps, customer journey maps) lets you kick off new workshops in seconds instead of starting from a blank canvas.

• The infinite canvas means you never “run out of whiteboard,” and the mini-map keeps navigation sane.

• Handy facilitation tools—timer, bulk sticky clustering, voting, and presentation mode—help keep workshops structured without switching apps.

• Deep integrations with Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Google Workspace pull context in and push outcomes back to the right places.

• Easy guest access makes it painless to include clients or cross-functional partners who don’t have a paid seat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

• Large boards can become sluggish; once you cross a few thousand objects, load times and zooming tend to stutter.

• User-management costs add up quickly—occasional contributors often need a full seat, which feels pricey for light use.

• Advanced features (e.g., rolling up Jira issues or using diagramming shortcuts) have a moderate learning curve that can intimidate first-timers.

• Offline mode is limited; a flaky connection can stall a workshop.

• Comment notifications sometimes flood your inbox if you’re part of multiple active boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, collaborative tool that makes brainstorming and organizing ideas with my team seamless"
What do you like best about Miro?

Teamwork: Miro is amazing for collaboration. Lots of people can draw on a single board collaboratively and in real-time, making the experience of brainstorming sessions and project planning very efficient.

Templates: There are tons of pre-created templates for anything from mind maps to kanban boards. This saved me significant time when creating my canvases, as well as sparked creativity when I was unsure what to create first (way better than staring at a blank canvas).

Flexible Canvas: The infinite canvas lets me organize my ideas, diagrams, post-it notes however I want.

Integrations: The integration make it more streamlined and compatible to workflows I'm already familiar with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Learning Curve: Basic features are easy to get the hang of; with some of the advanced tools, it just takes a little while to learn how to use them properly because there's a fair bit of 'exploration' that needs to be done first.

Pricing: The free version is good to use for small projects, but if you want all the important features, there is a cost. That can be expensive for teams (adds up pretty quickly). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro: The Ultimate Digital Canvas for Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro is an incredibly versatile and user-friendly visual collaboration tool that makes it easy for teams to brainstorm, plan, and work together in real time, no matter where they are. What I like best about Miro is how seamlessly it combines powerful features—like interactive whiteboards, templates, and synced content—with a clean, intuitive interface that encourages creativity and keeps everyone aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

While Miro is a powerful collaboration tool, one downside is that it can become overwhelming and cluttered during large team sessions, especially when many users are editing the board at once, which can slow down performance and make it harder to stay organized. "Miro is my number one tool"
What do you like best about Miro?

As a User Experience Architect Miro has basically become my default tool for everything I need to do. I use it almost all day everyday. From planning and documenting user research, planning and facilitating design workshops and presentations, doing mindmaps, creating user journeys, IA and site maps, and even creating basic wireframes. The plethora of templates that are avaiable make getting started on a board inspiring and easy. There so many features in the tool that make it indespensible it is hard to narrow to only a few. The features I use most regulaly would be; the wireframe library, meeting features like timer, notes and voting, cards, diagramming shapes, and obviously stickie notes. The new AI features are a really great start too. Customer Support is fantastic also, with both a well supported community where you can post feature wishlists and Miro regularly update with progress on those features. Through to Miro supported advocate communities such as the Enterprise Advocate community. Additionally the 'Miroverse' is great for templates and ideas on how others are using Miro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I would love to see the wireframing tools expanded exponentially; the inclusion of more components and icons (say outlined ones not just solids) and be more flexible in their editable features, like colours and fonts. I'd like to see better integration of Miro into Microsoft Teams; it's there currently and it works wonderfully, its only shortfall is that it currently doesn't record the video in Teams of the onscreen activity (I understand that might be a Microsoft issue and not a Miro issue though). For businesses and enterprises, I would love to see an expansion of company templating to include being able to have company-wide fonts and company-wide colour palettes so you can easily be on brand in your organisation. "Great Team Experience (regulary laggy tho)"
What do you like best about Miro?

The collaborative experience is the industry standard.

Especially to share and review animations its so easy to align stroyboard stills, but also upload small GIF previews of a full sequence.

Unfortunately there is no real way to upload full .mp4 files. Which would make it even more insane to review Animations on there with a big team and get instant feedback Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I feel like quite regulary the connection to the Miro servers is crashing and the board doesnt reload. load at all.

Would be also nice to have a better option of downloading files (Images, Gifs) in bulk without exporting them to a .pdf which i never really found easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"New workshop experience with Miro"
What do you like best about Miro?

I like Miro because it's a tool that brings people closer together during workshops. Even when working on a global project, people from different countries can collaboratively contribute to the workshop's outcome. I work in an agile environment, so this tool is particularly valuable during various types of workshops, conceptual work, or PI Planning. It's perfect for situations where people can work together and add their piece to the final outcome. I also like very much template that can be taken from library to support different facilitation, from energizers through diagrams and flows to kanban boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

It's difficult to pinpoint specific things I dislike. I find the tool intuitive, and a brief introduction is enough for people to start working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhancing Product Design Workflows with Miro"
What do you like best about Miro?

As a Product Designer, I use Miro daily to support various stages of the design process. It plays a crucial role in facilitating discovery sessions and organizing qualitative research findings. Additionally, I rely on it for low-fidelity prototyping and creating user flow diagrams, thanks to its intuitive and collaborative interface. More recently, I’ve been leveraging Miro’s AI capabilities to assist with spell-checking text and generating insights based on collected data, which has significantly streamlined my workflow and enhanced the quality of my deliverables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

One downside of using Miro is the limited typography customization within components and sticky notes, which can be restrictive when trying to create more visually distinct or organized boards. The shape options for sticky notes are also somewhat basic. Additionally, the recent update to the homepage thumbnails hasn’t been very appealing to me — I find it harder to quickly differentiate between boards, especially when they don’t have a custom thumbnail. A clearer way to identify and distinguish boards visually would greatly improve the browsing experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential tool for product design and collaboration"
What do you like best about Miro?

As a Product Designer, Miro is essential to my daily workflow. I use it for user interviews, backlog grooming, brainstorming sessions, stakeholder alignment, and even design critiques. It’s incredibly intuitive and flexible, with powerful features like templates, sticky notes. It helps turn abstract ideas into clear visual flows that the whole team can engage with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The only downside I’ve experienced is the high memory usage when using Miro in Safari. It can get really slow or even unresponsive at times, which disrupts the flow of work. It works better in other browsers, but since Safari is my main browser on Mac, I’d love to see some optimization in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro is my go to workspace"
What do you like best about Miro?

I like being able to put everything in one place and being able to organize it how I want to. I like how visual I can make things. I like that I can share Miro and use it for workshops. Miro allows me to create a working space and create a sharing space. It is easy to use so I can make it part of all of my workshops. I use it everyday! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I have had trouble extracting my work from Miro in a readable format for others. If i have detailed work in Miro, when i export it it is too small for anyone to read. I wish I could share the visual experience in an easier, more readable way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro has everything I need for every project"
What do you like best about Miro?

I love that it's accessible to everyone on my team (PM, analyst, engineers, etc) and that it's easily embedded into Teams, so I can use it for everything from discovery with my team to multi-proram workshop facilitation, as well as documentation and note-taking for myself. All of the features are intuitive, and I love the variety of templates as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The biggest pain point I have is with copying larger sections or frames. For ex, I use the same template for our team retro every week, and it's often a pain to copy and paste all the elements by individually clicking them. I also don't like that it says "copy of", because I have to go in and change them each time. I also do not think the directions for the dot voting on the template I use are very clear; I can't figure out how to start the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
