What do you like best about OptiSigns?

I love that you can type in different words to help find the best template. That really helps me be able to come up with my best project. The ease of implementing what I want to do in my head vs on the screen is nice! I have not had to use customer support as I haven't had any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OptiSigns?

I guess that I would like to be able to have more than one project open at the same time so I can copy paste into each other but I have opened a new window to copy paste so its not like I can't!

What do you like best about OptiSigns?

It’s easy to get started and even easier to keep things running. Setting up screens and pushing content takes minutes, and the interface is straightforward enough that anyone on the team can handle updates without much training. We use it weekly, sometimes daily, to rotate announcements, dashboards, and videos.

The range of features for the price is honestly impressive. The templates, scheduling, third-party integrations like Google Drive and Canva, and even simple widgets for weather, news, and KPIs. What do you dislike about OptiSigns?

The UI does the job, but it could be cleaner and more modern. When you’re managing a lot of screens or assets, it can feel a bit clunky. It’s functional, but not the most elegant experience.

Also, while support is responsive, the documentation could go a bit deeper for troubleshooting things like sync issues or offline screens. You get answers quickly, but a bit more built-in help would reduce the need to ask. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about OptiSigns?

We really liked the wide range of options for getting your wallboards to work either by various apps for Google and Amazon Fire sticks, or even a HDMI dongle.

Advanced configuration of wifi and timezone is a real plus for getting the screens working in advance of sending to the branch to remove effort in initiating the setup.

Playlists and permissions are easy to manage so we can share management of content with the businesses

The price point is acceptable for what we want to do and we will get plenty of value out of it considering the effect we expect they will have.

We are using the PowerBI app and despite one limitation being the control over filters which need to be different per business, the engineering team have responded to say they are currently working on an enhancement to introduce the feature. The customer service team were not initially very forthcoming and offered a bookmark workaround which is impractical, but in fact they then stepped up the response and really impressed us with their customer awareness.

What do you dislike about OptiSigns?

What do you like best about OptiSigns?

I haven’t had the chance to implement OptiSigns yet, but based on the demo and everything I’ve explored so far, it seems very intuitive and easy-to-use. The user interface is clean and straightforward, and it looks like it has all the essential features to manage content effectively without a steep learning curve. What do you like best about OptiSigns?

I like the hardware and ease of initial set up, we love the ability to be able to have the device turn the tv on and off allowing it to essentially run with minimal effort on our end. I like the way the scheduler feature works and it's simple to build a new rotation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OptiSigns?

I wish it was easier/more clear to schedule a one time takeover, from what I have seen you essentially have to save it over the existing schedule when you want it to run and the platforms uses the 'last saved' schedule as the one to run. It definitely works but it always makes us hesitant that it won't work and we've run into a few issues in the past.

While we love the auto on and off it doesn't always work, granted there's a chance it's not OptiSigns fault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While it’s reliable, the design experience could be more polished. It would be helpful to have a more visual, drag-and-drop editor—something closer to a Canva-style interface. What do you like best about OptiSigns?

I really appreciate the practicality and convenience of managing multiple TVs and their graphics across different states where my company operates — all without having to be there in person and do it manually. It has great features where you can have graphics on standby for any occasion and decide exactly when to put them up and for how long. I also like how you can schedule things to go out at certain times, so you don’t have to manually add and remove content all the time. That’s super helpful when you’re either super busy or the only person with access and happen to be on leave. Also, managing multiple screens at one location is a super handy tool to have. What do you dislike about OptiSigns?

t’s not the most intuitive app. Like with any software, you need to spend some time learning it before you really get the hang of it. That said, I wish some parts of the user experience were improved, especially in certain tabs. For example, being able to preview your graphic right in the files section without having to download it first would be really helpful. I mean, what’s the point of uploading it if I then have to turn around and either download it, or find it in my files just to view it? It’s not a huge deal, but it’s those little things that could make the user-friendliness stand out more — especially since that kind of improvement would save time and boost efficiency. What do you like best about OptiSigns?

It's really easy to use, even if you're not super techy. Setting it up didn't take me too long and now I am able to update our screens even if I'm working remotely. What do you like best about OptiSigns?

The customizability, from the weather to the live features to the sheer amount of content available, is impressive. I haven't had a lot of time to jump in and really dig deep, but from what I've used as a newcomer, the sheer volume of what I can do shows potential and worth in your software. What do you dislike about OptiSigns?

I feel like there is a steep learning curve with the software. I often find myself going back to YouTube tutorials to refresh on how to do things, possibly because I'm not using the system daily. I don't know what specific advice I could offer to improve the learning curve since you already provide a good tutorial, but honestly, most people skip it. I wish the app included more video-based guidance, similar to how you link to articles, as people are increasingly inclined to prefer quick visuals over reading. I understand this could be challenging since updating a document is easier than updating a video.

A dark mode would also be a great addition. Many software platforms offer it, and the bright white interface can be overwhelming and, personally, strains my eyes.

Additionally, just like in the files/assets section where thumbnails are displayed, I think it would be fantastic to have this in the screen tab. It would be great to see a small image—or even better, a live thumbnail—of what the sign looks like without needing to click 'Preview.' This is especially important since multiple people at my company use this software, leading to varied file naming and management styles. With so many hands in the cookie jar, and because everyone thinks differently, thumbnails would provide a quick visual indicator of what I'm looking at or about to see.

On a related note, my generation expects instant results, especially with AI-driven tools, and visuals are critical for that. Think of Canva’s user-friendly interface, where thumbnails make it easy to view files. I love that I can see thumbnails there because sometimes I forget what I named a file. It would also be helpful to have an option to increase the thumbnail size in the files and playlist views. Sometimes the thumbnails are too small to see clearly, especially when browsing many images in a window. Similar to platforms that let you adjust thumbnail size for better visibility, this would make it easier to identify files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One issue we’ve encountered is with the custom size zones. While the feature is great in theory, it can be a bit glitchy in practice. Certain apps like Instagram and Google-managed business profiles don’t function properly unless the zone is set to full screen.
