Over the past 5-6 years, Varicent has demonstrated significant advancements as an incentive compensation management tool. What do you dislike about Varicent?

I am only a user, not an administrator. Sometimes we are wasting precious time trying to figure out why jobs failed overnight and such, which can be quite troublesome and lead to lack of trust from users, especially during critical times Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Varicent?

Varicent is always making updates and improvements to the product. Their product is very flexible to build different programs. What do you dislike about Varicent?

Varicent employees really great staff that are easy to work with and actually listen to the wants and needs of their customers. They are constantly implementing software update releases based on the requests of what their customers are asking for. The solutions offered are customizable to your company's needs and Varicent provides helpful training, workshops, and a community to help support you with your needs. What do you dislike about Varicent?

My experience is specific to their Incentives solution, which does have a steep learning curve to use. You really need to have a good understanding of joining data and coding to be able to complete all work in house especially if your model and business requests are complex. Varicent is an easy to use system that provides tools and visibility for creating, tracking, and distributing a business process. Customer service and educational resources are always available and helpful to get what we need done. Varicent is effective and transparent about delivering a well packaged product. **The new `Plan Documents' feature is fantastic but the backend data is not available for them to use in the calculation area.

The on premise to cloud migration process was seamless,with minimal disruption to our daily operations, thanks to the partnership with the Varicent team. The regular meetings and project plans contributed to a successful transfer from the previous on premise system to the cloud-based Varicent SPM efficiently, ensuring continuity in operations. What do you dislike about Varicent?

They could enhance their support ticket process by implementing a more streamlined system that prioritizes urgent issues and provides timely updates to customers. What do you like best about Varicent?

I like the way the tool is structured, the UI, the navigation and overall user interface. The reporting structre is good and it performs the job efficiently and disllays the result, reports very well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Varicent?

The overall performance uncertainties. The full calc at times is super quick and at times takes an hour or more to complete.

Sometimes it seems very slow. Alot of our work is very manual and sometimes it seems too many steps are required to do a simple thing. Our calculations can take 3-4 hours sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automated calculation of compensation. Designing and configuring calculations without developing overly complicated backend software tools. Lot of options to configure and customize the solution. Varicent is opening up paths and abilities to move data around and make the best use of data. Varicent goes above and beyond to value their customers, keeping them engaged with upcoming changes. The CSM is active and understands the issues and addresses the concerns in time. There are opportunities within the contract to seek expert services and consultation. What do you dislike about Varicent?

Sometimes we have seen performance delays and it all depends on data size too. Recent changes are a lot related to user experience on the front end but more work is required to optimize and make the comp engine more friendly for developers.
