I’m looking for recommendations on the best password manager for a small business. The software should balance ease of use with strong security features. Ideally, it should be affordable and easy to onboard a small team.

These are some of the top tools I’ve come across on Password Managers software. If you’ve used any of them, I’d love to hear your experience—what’s worked well, what hasn’t, and what you’d recommend for a team of 10–50 people:

• LastPass: Offers centralized admin controls and dark web monitoring. It’s popular for its easy browser integration, though some users mention performance lags occasionally.
• 1Password: Known for its intuitive design and “Watchtower” security insights. Teams appreciate the shared vaults and granular access controls, but pricing can be on the higher end for some startups.
• Dashlane: Has a clean UI, built-in VPN, and dark web monitoring. It’s user-friendly, but some reviewers feel the business-tier features are limited compared to competitors.
• Bitwarden: Open-source and praised for its transparency and affordability. Many small teams like the flexible deployment options (cloud or self-hosted), though the UI isn’t as polished as others.
• NordPass Business: From the makers of NordVPN, it offers biometric logins, zero-knowledge architecture, and role-based access. It’s newer in the space, but gaining trust quickly.
