What is really great about the platform is that you can manage the whole workflow of a campaign, from teh brief to the results analyzis. It gathers in a single place all you need to know about a campaign, what are the deadlines, who is in charge of what, where we stand,if there is any issue. What do you dislike about Optimizely Content Marketing Platform?

For non digital mindset people, it can be a bit hard to dig in Optimizely and understand what they have to do (where to submit a brief, where to review an asset, etc.). We've been using the Optimizely Content Marketing Platform for over 2 years, and it’s been a game changer for how we manage content, projects and workflows across our team. The ability to plan, collaborate, and execute campaigns all in one place has seriously improved our efficiency and visibility.

The calendar and workflow features keep our projects on track, and the content briefs and approval process help ensure quality and consistency. It's also great for aligning internal and external teams—everyone knows what’s happening and when.

What do you like best about Optimizely Content Marketing Platform?

I recently had the opportunity to explore and utilize the Optimizely Consent Management Platform (CMP) for my organization's compliance needs. Overall, I found the platform to be robust and feature-rich, facilitating the management of consent preferences efficiently. We use Optimizely CMP for blogs submission and other content and it makes the job much easier! What do you dislike about Optimizely Content Marketing Platform?

As with any software, there were aspects of Optimizely CMP that presented a slight learning curve, particularly for first-time users like myself.

While I found the platform to be highly capable, the initial interaction with the UI was somewhat challenging. Certain fields and settings required a degree of familiarity to locate, which slowed down the customization process. It can very difficult to find tickets if you didn't create the request. Comments are shown by version of documents so sometimes commentary can get lost depending on which version you're looking at. Optimizely grows as the needs of my company shift - the support of the reps and team as a whole has been incredible. I ask for something and they get it done. I am a big fan of Optimizely Content Marketing Platform is the ease in which content workflow was managed. Thanks to this, it is easier to assign tasks, track progress and make sure all of this moves as smoothly from idea to publication. With the editorial calendar in place, our team does not miss deadlines and stay on schedule. One of the drawbacks to Optimizely Content Marketing Platform is not optimal content modification in active campaigns due to approval process. Although it is beneficial to have certain set structures and routines to implement practice change it is not always effective when there is need to make sudden changes. It was very challenging to set up. That was not communicated to us, and the onboarding process (especially the start) was very confusing. We nearly gave up. There are also a few things in the tool that should be better e.g. using Office tools in desktop version and delegating a step to several people. - Very comprehensive and powerful tool

- Massive development of the platform over the years, reflecting voice of the customers

- We appreciate the direct contact with Optimizely and opportunity to shape the product with our feedback - we are listened to (good example are Task Templates)

- Ability to seamlessly connect with the whole Optimizely One marketing OS is very also very appealing, even though we use only CMP and don´t plan to change other platforms

- Once you get through the training, it´s easy to use and very powerful, providing also great insights for the company

- One of the main game changers for our adoption have been the Workflows, powering up the collaboration on the common communications activities (social posts, webpages...) - our campaign managers use CMP on daily basis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Optimizely Content Marketing Platform?

- Given it´s complexity, it take quite some time and effort to onboard new colleagues and seeing a reasonable adoption of the tool

- I find it quite expensive if a company needs a lot of licenses, even though we have a discounted price (given the history and amount of users). Majority of our users need the Creator role to be able to collaborate efficiently. Would perhaps distinguish how much the users use the platform (e.g. power users, regular users, light users)

- Clicking through the campaigns, tasks and views comes with a loading time which is a bit annoying (in particular to load a view in Plan module with the Hierarchy ON every time you change filters) - so one needs to rather open links in a new tab than clicking back and forth and waiting until it loads. What do you like best about Optimizely Content Marketing Platform?

The platform is extremely intuitive to use and therefore useful to implement in mixed teams of various backgrounds. I use the content calendar daily which gives me a comprehensive view of what I'm working on and what is coming up. The integration with our local website through a json file was simple - if possible I'd publish all our content through Optimizely. This is a huge feature for users who aren't very digitally savvy - copying content from Word gives an immaculate HTML code. The workflows and templates expedite work on content - we align tasks in a team working on two continents with Optimizely. The support team is usually quick to respond and resolve issues. What do you dislike about Optimizely Content Marketing Platform?

Minor changes that are implemented in the CMP sometimes effect the way we work, becausewe are using some functions slightly differently than expected. But we've always been able to circumvent that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
