What do you like best about Humi?

What do you dislike about Humi?

As mentioned, there are some odd quirks with their UI. The search filters hid our terminated employees from us for a really long time. I worked with a payroll specialist who said they also struggled with it at first. It's a small quirk, and once you know where it is, it's an easy fix, it's just not intuitive at first.

I also don't like that they don't have data processing in their reports, I have to download the reports as a CSV then process data in Excel. For example, when we report insurable earnings to WSIB, I go to the WSIB report, but I can't extract a total from the web report. Instead, I download the CSV, then calculate the total insurable earnings for WSIB eligible employees. It's small, but it changes a 1 minute task to a 5 minute task. What do you like best about Humi?

We were previously using a US based HRIS system, and since we are based in Ontario, Canada we wanted something more 'local'. Humi is relatively user friendly, and so far the transition has been pretty smooth. We use core HR every days, and then are currently working to set up the Performance Modules as well as Recruiting. Customer Service has been good for what we have needed, and the ease of integration from our old HRIS system was okay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humi?

Humi is less intuitive than our previous HRIS system, however, I know that they are always working to improve the system as well as they do take the feedback of their users pretty seriously. Currently, our recruiting module cannot link with Indeed Hiring, although, I know they are trying to work through that as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Humi?

Our company moved from BambooHR, on the employee side of things it is pretty similar - the app is not as intensive but allows for function of time-off requests. It has been a seamless integration since we launched 2 days ago so far employees seem already adapted pretty well, the onboarding process was seamless and easy. The AI custom support was very useful in directing us to the correct guides and the team was responsive in 2-3 business days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humi?

There is a lot of work still to do on the admin side, it was a lot of manual work to integrate employee profile information that wasnt basic info (name, email, etc.). We have spent a lot of time and resources that could have been used elsewhere to input data. The system could use some work on what we are able to adjust specifically tailored to our company and what we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Humi?

The thing I appreciate the most about Humi is that it is a Canadian-based company. When I have questions about how to run payroll in Canada, they are usually able to answer them with the specifics of the Canadian system.

I also appreciate the flexibility of plans based on the size of my business. I have a very small business with unique payment structure but Humi was able to accommodate my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humi?

There are two things that I struggle with about Humi. First, when the payroll processing date falls on a long weekend (Monday for a Friday payday), they move the payroll processing date to the previous Friday. This means that we have to process payroll before the payroll period is over.

What do you like best about Humi?

Easy to use once and implementation was straight forward. The customer support services are top notch and always quick responses and problems solved immediately. The HR functions combined with the payroll has improved all processes with allowing employees and managers visibility as any time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humi?

Payroll items can be locked in pay periods so not easy to do quick payroll deductions unless it is setup before starting payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Humi?

Easy transition and implementation from our previous Payroll Service. We've been with Humi for 2 years now. We've got a pretty good flow with our once a month payruns. They are pretty hands off. What do you dislike about Humi?

There's likely features Humi offers that I'm not even aware of. For a company that deals with people's pay, I feel like they lack a bit of a human touch. Working with our Account Manager use to be through ZenDesk which I really didn't like - interacting with them was a little confusing. What do you like best about Humi?

Humi offers a comprehensive range of HRIS features that can meet most organizational needs, including payroll, time off tracking, performance management, and more. As part of the HR team and a daily user, I’ve found the platform to be generally intuitive and easy to work with.

We primarily rely on the employee organizational tools, which are straightforward to navigate. Onboarding new hires is a smooth experience. Setting up new accounts, uploading documents, assigning reviews, and tracking training logs is easy within the system.

What do you dislike about Humi?

There is room for improvement in the performance and training modules. While the platform is easy to use, it lacks some functionality and customization options in these areas. What do you dislike about Humi?

Time tracking and payroll integration would be great as well as the ability to have different payroll cycles. We also always miss the deadline for submissions when we hit a long weekend because our payroll week doesn't allow for us to get the payroll in on the Friday before given that we also have the clinic open on Saturdays. Lastly, the stat holiday pay option is not available and always has to be done manually which is not fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Humi?

Humi is extremely user friendly for Admin users, Managers. and all staff. The effectiveness of vacation and sick time tracking within Humi saves us a lot of manual calculating. Not having to worry about timely source deduction remittances is also a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
