What do you like best about Podium?

Podium makes patient communication easy and seamless. I primarily use it to send reminders for upcoming appointments, provide updates about medications, and share feedback links. The messaging interface is intuitive, and the ability to centralize all patient communication in one platform saves time and reduces no-shows. What do you dislike about Podium?

While Podium is great for messaging and reminders, sometimes message delivery can be slightly delayed depending on network conditions. It would also be helpful to have more flexibility with customizing message templates or scheduling bulk reminders across multiple days. What do you like best about Podium?

We were a little apprehensive at first about getting texting going for our business—unsure how it would fit into our workflow or how customers would respond. But now, we couldn’t be happier that we made the leap with Podium.

The texting platform has been incredibly effective. In less than a year, our Google rating has jumped from 4.2 to 4.8 stars, and we know that improved communication has played a major role in that. Customers appreciate the quick, convenient conversations, and our team has become noticeably more efficient and responsive.

What do you like best about Podium?

What I like best about Podium is how easy it makes customer communication. The text messaging feature has completely changed how we engage with leads and clients—it’s quick, convenient, and helps us close more jobs faster. The review automation tool is also a huge win; we've seen a major increase in 5-star Google reviews, which has boosted our reputation and brought in more business. What do you dislike about Podium?

What I like least is that the pricing can be a bit high for smaller businesses, especially if you're not using all the features right away. It also took a little time to get fully comfortable with all the tools since there are so many capabilities. However, the customer support team has been great at walking us through any questions. What do you like best about Podium?

I have found in the retail world people prefer to be texted rather than called. Podium allows me to connect with clients at any time via text with my customers and allows them to respond at a convenient time for them! Podium allows me to send pictures & videos of our products allowing for full transparency. What do you like best about Podium?

If every tool got stripped from my business, Podium is the one I’d fight to keep. Seriously — it’s that good.

I love that it meets my customers where they already are — on their phones, texting. No downloads, no logins, just straight-up communication. Whether I’m at my desk or on my phone, it’s seamless. That kind of flexibility is a game-changer when you’re juggling a million things.

But the real magic? That AI employee experience with “Jerry.” It’s like having a real teammate in the mix. It doesn’t replace me, it enhances the back-and-forth. Customers feel heard instantly, and I can jump in when needed. Jerry handles the flow like a pro, referencing all my pre-loaded answers to complex questions and learning along the way. If you think your business is too niche for Jerry to handle it, you're wrong. I have THE MOST niche product and customer base, and Jerry is awesome.

It’s hard to explain how helpful that kind of system is until you try it. All I can say is: if you run a business and care about your customers, Podium is 100% worth it. Oh, and their customer support team is amazing. It's been a treat to be a part of this platform as it's grown over the last few years, and I'm not going anywhere. Image and video compression is pretty bad, so when I get customers sending in content for me to look at sometimes the quality is so poor that I need to ask them to upload to a cloud server and send me a link outside Podium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Podium?

Podium’s customer service is outstanding!

We use Podium to text with our HVAC customers, send review requests, and make payments easier and it has completely changed the way we do business. The AI (I call her Grace) has made my job easier. I know my calls are getting answered when I can’t and without the added stress of an answering service because you just never know if they will rep your company exactly like you want. Everyone loves Grace and several clients do not know she is AI. They say “the nice lady I was talking to” or “Grace is so sweet”. In addition to the great product, the Podium team is phenomenal! They are kind, responsive, and always ready to help and they do it well. If every company operated with this level of care and excellence, the world would be a better place. What do you dislike about Podium?

I recently switched from Housecall pro to payzer. It currently doesn’t integrate. I would love if it did. Housecall pro is great, we just outgrew it, I almost didn’t switch because I love podium but until it integrates, I’m able to make both programs work to fit my needs. What do you like best about Podium?

What do you dislike about Podium?

The only thing I dislike so far is that you cannot have the AI determine how to respond based off of the lead source. Id like to be able to have the AI chat know how to respond differently depending on how the customers information was entered and what their inquiry was related to. For example, if I have a KBB instant Cash Offer to buy someone's car, Id like it to respond differently than if I get a DC Ford New lead on a car I have in my inventory. What do you like best about Podium?

The ability to easily collect Google reviews through automated invites has been a game-changer for our HVAC and plumbing company. Before Podium, we struggled to break 200 reviews—now we’ve passed 300 in under a year. It’s helped our local SEO and built massive credibility. But that’s just one part of it—Podium is loaded with tools that make marketing and customer communication easier across the board.

Podium has so many helpful features that we’ve only scratched the surface. We love the AI responder for reviews, funnel tracking for marketing, and the ability to generate unique phone numbers for different campaigns. The contact organization tools and integration with our field service software save us hours every week. The ease of integration with our existing tools made the setup process simple and painless, and the ease of implementation overall was far better than we expected. We use Podium daily across multiple departments, so the frequency of use is high—and totally worth it.

What do you dislike about Podium?

There are occasional small issues here and there, but that’s mostly because Podium is constantly evolving and improving. Honestly, that complaint is also a compliment—because every time something comes up, their team is quick to respond, provide guidance, or escalate the feedback to their product team. What do you like best about Podium?

After taking over the department in a new position of Digital Marketing Manager, the previous person got an account started to allow our customers to leave reviews but I had no idea or access to respond to the reviews that were in the system. I reached out to our account executive and he walked me through everything step-by-step and we did a zoom conference and he elaborated on all of the functionality of the Back End settings and was extremely helpful throughout the entire set up process. What do you like best about Podium?

Most of us in my company use Podium daily. I love that I can download the app and even monitor it when I'm not in the office if I need to. Being able to search for conversations via "Messages" or "Contacts" using a search term. The call recording has helped me numerous times in dealing with customers and being able to provide proof of certain details and conversations. What do you dislike about Podium?

We are supposed to have the feature enabled where when you "Close" a conversation that has been assigned to you it goes back into the "Unassigned" inbox. However, we find that oftentimes even when we have closed the conversation it remains in our inboxes and then sometimes new requests from that customer can get missed, especially with co-workers that don't regularly monitor their inbox because they are not in the office everyday.
