"Go To for Quick and Easy Meetings"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

1. Ease of use, you click a link and you are in

2. Allows external people to join , no need to download stuff or create an account

3.When scheduling a meeting on google calendar, a link autogenerates, this is great because it saves a lot of time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

1. Screen sharing, especially the mirroring thing it does when you share entire screen

2. The chat box also is a bit too bare, i don't even use it a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, simple video meetings with great Google integration"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

Google Meet is easy to launch directly from Gmail or Google Calendar, which saves time. The interface is clean, and it works well without needing to install anything. Screen sharing and live captions work smoothly, and it performs well even on slower networks. The overall experience is seamless for quick meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

The feature set feels a bit limited compared to Zoom or Teams, especially for advanced collaboration. There’s no built-in whiteboard, and breakout rooms require extra setup. Sometimes the video quality drops without warning, and the chat history disappears after the meeting ends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What I like best about Google Meet is its simplicity and integration."
What do you like best about Google Meet?

It’s incredibly easy to join or schedule meetings directly from Gmail or Google Calendar, which streamlines my workflow. The interface is clean and user-friendly, and features like real-time captions, screen sharing, and breakout rooms make collaboration smooth. Plus, the reliability and performance—especially with large groups—are solid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

While Google Meet is generally reliable, one thing I dislike is the limited advanced features compared to other platforms. For example, virtual backgrounds and breakout rooms are less customizable, and some features (like polls or Q&A) require a specific Google Workspace plan. Also, the interface can feel a bit too minimal at times, making it harder to quickly access certain tools during a meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, User-Friendly, and Perfect for Remote Collaboration"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

"The best thing about Google Meet is its seamless integration with the Google Workspace ecosystem. Scheduling meetings via Google Calendar, joining calls with a single click, and collaborating in real-time on Docs or Sheets during meetings makes it extremely convenient. The interface is clean, the video and audio quality are reliable, and it doesn’t require any software installation, which is great for ease of access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

While Google Meet is generally very reliable, one limitation is the lack of advanced features compared to some competitors—such as built-in whiteboarding, more dynamic breakout room controls, or detailed meeting analytics. Additionally, background noise suppression and visual backgrounds could be improved for lower bandwidth situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and reliable video conferencing – perfect for our small business"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

Google Meet is incredibly easy to use and integrates perfectly with other Google Workspace tools, especially Gmail and Google Calendar. Scheduling a meeting is seamless – I can create a meeting link directly from my calendar and send invites in seconds. The platform is reliable, with consistently clear video and audio quality, even with weaker internet connections. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly, which makes it easy for everyone on the team, including those who are not tech-savvy, to use without needing training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

While Google Meet works very well for basic video conferencing, it does lack some advanced features compared to other tools. For example, it would be helpful to have more control over layout customization, such as pinning multiple participants or changing screen views more flexibly. Also, I would appreciate deeper integration with third-party tools like Trello or project management platforms, which would improve productivity in more complex workflows. "Simple and accessible, but lacks continuity features"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

What I like most about Google Meet is how easy it is to share meeting links and how seamlessly it integrates with the entire Google ecosystem. I also appreciate that participants can join meetings without needing to log in, which makes it super convenient for external collaborators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

What I miss is a more complete corporate environment. For example, when I used Microsoft Teams, I liked that every video call created a chat thread that remained available afterward. This made it easy to keep track of shared links, comments, or decisions discussed during the call. In Google Meet, that context is lost once the meeting ends, which can sometimes lead to missing important information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
