"My Experience with Google Meet"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

It is interesting that Google has managed to add an assistant that takes down notes of the conversation. It is user friendly, and the AI can be easily implemented when paid :(. I have not had any specific experience with customer support since there was never a problem that I encountered. I am a new user and usually use Google Meet 1-2 times per week. Lastly The ease of integration of the AI in the duration of the meeting is adequate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

The top 3 things I find most annoying include the fact that the AI assistant is paid. Additionally I believe teams usually operates better in terms of audio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of, if not the best, Video Conferencing App"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

Google Meet works across every device. Whether it be a laptop or desktop computer all the way to a phone or tablet. It's a great tool that allows meetings to occur with ease and you can even join by dialing in via a phone if you don't have a computer or tablet device or if you are on the go. The application works in all browsers, at least that I know of, and has very little issues with working properly. This is a tool that we use for all of our daily standups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

There really isn't anything that I dislike about the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google meet: partial solution for virtual group/ team meeting ."
What do you like best about Google Meet?

1) I love how stable and seamless, it is from my classes to prayer calls, and church meetings run smoothly without issues.

2) I like how clear the audio and video are, plus it hardly ever glitches, except when I'm having network issues on my end, even with the use of earpiece the sounds are very clear

3) Google Meet’s privacy is top notched, I feel secure knowing my all my meetings and calls are always protected

4) Also it also allows a large number of people on a calm at the same time which is pretty easy and useful. So it promotes unity.

5) Also it comes mostly in some phone as system apps but maneuvering is not an issue at all, from clicking the link to join the meeting simple as ABC

6) Also love the video features on it , even most time in my meetings it's not really needed example my prayer meeting, but my classes the video features are necessary and use and so far it's been seamless using and exciting, for you can see your friends virtual and see how they are fairing and it's very exciting for gestures

Also gives the ability to find your friends on the app by granting contacts access, cause it's not all calls on meet that are business and church or school related, some calls are personal . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

For me

Basic interface can feel too minimalistic: not as many in-meeting controls or settings for power users.

Occasional connectivity or lag issues: even with good internet, there might be brief drops or frozen screens and sometimes log you out

Recording storage tied to Google Drive: which can clutter up Drive or eat into storage quota.

Also, it's difficult to hear each other speak with everyone mics on it gives this echo and all and most time causes distractions in meeting and the minutes told fkr everyone to mute their mic and for them to eventually does, it could've been used to say other things

There are time network issues loge out but to join again will seem impossible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reviewing Google Meet"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

What I like best about Google Meet is its seamless integration with other Google Workspace tools like Calendar and Gmail, which makes scheduling and joining meetings super convenient. The interface is clean and user-friendly, allowing participants to connect easily from any device without much hassle. Plus, features like live captions and screen sharing really enhance communication and collaboration during meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

While Google Meet offers many great features, one area that could be enhanced is the customization of virtual backgrounds, which is a bit limited compared to some other platforms. However, Google is constantly updating the platform, so I’m optimistic that more creative and personalized options will be available soon to improve the user experience even further. "Dependable and intuitive video conferencing tool"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

I appreciate the seamless integration with Google Workspace tools. Joining a meeting is effortless via a single click and browser support means no downloads are required. Video and audio quality remain consistent even on modest bandwidth, and built-in live captions improve accessibility for all participants. The security features, including meeting codes and domain restrictions, provide peace of mind for confidential discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

Advanced meeting controls feel somewhat limited compared to competing platforms. Breakout rooms require additional clicks and are not as intuitive to manage. There is no built-in virtual whiteboard aside from a separate Jamboard integration, which interrupts workflow. Occasionally noise cancellation filters out low-volume speech and requires manual adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Go to Tool for smooth Online collaboration"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

I like how easy it is to join or host meetings without needing to install anything. The integration with Google Calendar makes scheduling seamless, and video or audio is consistently reliable. Another thing I like about Google meet is the fact that it synchronizes easily with Calendly because I host meetings a lot these days, it just feels perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

Sometimes the features feel a bit basic compared to other tools, like limited in meeting reactions or advanced moderation controls. Also, performance can drop with weak Internet connections.

I also dislike when I go off a meeting and comes back, the chats in the chat box also disappear, if anything can be done, they should do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and User-Friendly Video Conferencing Tool"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

Google Meet has been a reliable part of our daily communication, especially for team meetings, client calls, and remote interviews. Its integration with Google Calendar and Gmail makes scheduling and joining meetings incredibly seamless. The interface is clean and easy to navigate even first-time users get comfortable quickly.

One standout feature is its real-time captions, which add accessibility and help during noisy environments. The video and audio quality are generally excellent, provided the internet connection is stable.

That said, there are a few areas where it could improve. Features like breakout rooms and in-meeting collaboration tools (like whiteboarding or polling) are a bit limited compared to Zoom. Also, while it works great in the Google ecosystem, cross-platform compatibility could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

Limited advanced features for webinars or large workshops

Screen sharing can lag on weak networks

Less flexibility compared to some competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quality and Dependability"
What do you like best about Google Meet?

Google Meet integrates seamlessly with my calendar, providing ease of use and dependability. I love the way the tab automatically resizes when I need to multitask during a meeting, and all the integrated Google features make the meetings flow smoothly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

I haven't found any glaring cons yet for Google Meet! It's easy to use on my desktop and my mobile device, for when my meetings need to hit the road. It's easy to call in to a meeting when wifi is inaccessible. I'm pretty much sold on Google Meet over other similar platforms! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
