What do you like best about Varicent?

We use ICM to calculate, pay and track all of our incentive payments from gift card spiff awards. Perhaps what we like best is the flexibility in building the different plans. We have a variety of plans ranging from a dozen or so calculations to plans that have hundreds of calculations. Really, we haven't come across a plan that we couldn't build. What do you dislike about Varicent?

Really not a dislike but we would like to see a more customizable workflow (we have very specific requirements). In addition, we would like to see more use cases/examples of how to use the API. We have a number of integrations with other systems (using imports) and while it works well, we are looking for something more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Varicent?

Based on demonstrations, since we have not fully rolled out the product, I am impressed with the reporting capabilities of presenter adaptive, the flexibility in building plans, and the ability to have a single source of truth when it comes to compensation. What do you dislike about Varicent?

What do you like best about Varicent?

The people. Technology is technology. But the people at Varicent are the difference.

I have never met a group of people who made it their mission for my team to succeed the way my Varicent partners do.

What do you dislike about Varicent?

Nothing comes to mind.

Only thing would be implementing changes we want but I understand how roadmapping works. We have to balance the same in our day to day. So that isn’t a dislike. It is the nature of technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Varicent?

What do you dislike about Varicent?

Inquiry Manager has a lot of room to grow when I can design a full ticketing suite (including Parent/Child relationship) in Smartsheet. No Presenter Adaptive Report template, thus, joining back end tables with self references to enable metric reporting for monitoring (e.g., SLA, Repeat Offenders, Enablement Enhancements). Inquiry Workflow Form cannot be edited post start distribution. ELT does not migrate from legacy Saved Imports. They need to be copied and edited within ELT. What do you like best about Varicent?

After adding Varicent to our sales technology platform, we've seen a very high adoption rate as well as our sales leadership is using our payee reports for strategic planning for our sales force. The ability to show opportunity and bonus potential updated daily with actual results provide our organization the right incentive and knowledge to drive sales results. What do you dislike about Varicent?

Working with extremely large datasets can be challenging. The more complex you're data model the more we have to break things into many more calculation layers to achieve results without impacting performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Varicent?

Varicent has been a game changer for the inquiry process. We have simplified the process, added controls, improved admin review and processing of inquiries. Presenter adaptive is a game changer for reporting. The functionality has led to an enhanced customer experience and decreased the research process for admins. What do you dislike about Varicent?

There are features in the inquiry workflow I would love to see. I understand there is significant benefit from working in the admin portal however that is not possible for my team. As a result of working in the sales portal we are unable to assign inquiries. If the message center could also allow for individual adjustments to columns it would improve our iuser experience. What do you like best about Varicent?

I like the ease of presenter adaptive, and the various training available to make working with the application an ease. The drag and click format, the dynamic/smart drop-down restriction options, and the applications checks ensures you always create a validate table/view/calculation/datastore. What do you dislike about Varicent?

I experience constant down times and slow calculations/import times. This is detrimental to our payroll processes. When we open a customer support case Varicent support cannot always assist or provide root cause in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Varicent?

At times, Varicent introduces new products and features that, while innovative, feel disconnected from the day-to-day realities and vernacular of specific industries. There’s sometimes a gap in how these capabilities are positioned and communicated, which can make adoption slower. What do you dislike about Varicent?

There is no inherit direct data connections we can establish with out software platforms, this seems to be locked behind their ELT product. Though we already have a solution managing our ELT needs, so the data we receive is already cleaned, and paying the price tag to simply connect directly with our other data platform is a difficult proposal to sell.
