What do you like best about Bynder?

You can easily find your assets in the DAM using the convenient filtering system Bynder has. I like how this cuts down on time that could be spent searching for files. Customer support and onboarding managers are great sources for helping you with any issues or understanding the product. They give tutorials and explanations to help us learn how it all works. Bynder will be used often for our company to help serve our workers and help them easily navigate to assets. I also like the integration of Adobe apps that can be edited and linked back to the Bynder DAM. What do you dislike about Bynder?

It can take a while to learn terminology of Bynder such as automated derivatives and the taxonomy, and how the system works in general. With time, the ease of integration gets easier to learn and ease of integration is not Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bynder?

It has an incredibly well thought out user experience that's expected from a consumer end, which is hard to find with most DAMs. They also have incredible customer support and I cannot sing the praises enough. They really take their time with you in the whole process. Everything from the decision making in the beginning, to what plan makes the most sense for your team, to even the onboarding process and ease of implementation. They are incredibly patient, helpful, caring and compassionate for their users. I never felt like just another customer, the ratio of support to your account is well balanced, they have plenty of resources for supporting your business and they do not seem stretched too thin, but well managed. What do you dislike about Bynder?

What do you like best about Bynder?

I've used a few different DAM systems over the years, and Bynder is easily the most user-friendly, both in the admin setup and the overall user experience. This goes a long way toward adoption and overall success. Because Bynder is powerful with lots of features, their initial onboarding is designed to provide bite-sized pieces in a manageable way. I would love to see Bynder offer more customization options on the DAM homepage, particularly in terms of design flexibility. It would be helpful to have more control over font type, size, and color, as well as image scaling and placement. Adding a few more design-focused features or "bells and whistles" would make it easier to create a more branded, visually engaging experience for users right from the start. What do you like best about Bynder?

For a company like ours, which produces an enormous amount of content for our activities, the Bynder DAM solution is a everyday tool, it has allowed us to streamline our needs both internally, across various departments, and externally, with our clients and partners. It has resulted in significant time savings in media management and made it much easier to share assets externally. Throughout the entire integration phase of Bynder, the support provided to our teams was flawless. From the initial commercial discussions to the project’s completion, we were guided through each step. What do you like best about Bynder?

Bynder has changed our digital asset management process in a great way because of the comprehensive and user friendly platform. We are able to streamline our brand guidelines and assets within a single source of truth with the intuitive system.

The landing page builder is quite simple and the ability to easily edit brand guidelines keeps our team on the same page. The ability to enable SSO and use third party login is secure and also meets all of our internal security standards. We are looking forward to see a major enhancement in avoiding fragmented systems and enhancing the operational effectiveness.

A special thanks goes to the outstanding onboarding team, Ta'quila Wilson and Dean Paskos, who provided great support and spent a lot of time answering all our technical and design questions. We owe a ton to them for making the transition smooth for us.

What do you dislike about Bynder?

In most areas, Bynder is excellent, but the primary limitation is multilingual content management for custom landing pages. The platform does not currently have a smooth language toggle between English and French for custom landing pages; separate homepage creation and user flows are required for each language. However, for bilingual organizations, this does create extra work.

But the Bynder team has been very responsive and collaborative in finding workarounds. They have indicated willingness to consider implementing this feature in future updates. What do you like best about Bynder?

The Onboarding Team made it easy for us to get up and running. They had templates for us to think through how to structure our assets and meta data for searching. And we had regular meetings to keep us on track so we hit our launch date without issue.

Bynder is intuitive which makes it easy for our end users. It's fully customizable so we could set it up to fit how we work and how we search for assets. What do you dislike about Bynder?

We thought there was an easy solution to bring assets and metadata over from our previous DAM but that ended up being more work than uploading project by project so getting our assets into the tool took longer than anticipated.

I wish Bynder could convert to different file types on the fly so everyone can get what they need immediately without us creating and managing several file types for every asset.

What do you like best about Bynder?

I think Bynder is a great tool! It is very intuitive for the users and admins. I like that the usage flow works similar to Google Images or online shopping so it is quick to understand for a new user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bynder?

There are limitations for uploading/adjusting files. If I make an error in uploading, it is not always easy to bulk edit all metaproperties. It sometimes gets confused with filters, so then I have to change each asset manually. I think a warning or "ok" would be helpful to add when using Mass Uploader when it comes to adding new terms/meta-properties. I had a few times that a spelling error/typo caused a new field to be added without me noticing until doing a later QA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It becomes a search engine for the organization's assets. Assets are uniformly assigned consistent metadata. It eliminates the need for a folder/file structure and the work of keeping it organized. Users are able to quickly find what they are searching for. Collections have allowed for easy sharing of assets and collaboration between teams and external partners. There are some settings and features that are only visible to Bynder. Changing or editing these requires contacting customer support or the Oboarding/Customer Success Manager.
